Time travelling is a thing that I never thought of before but if I could do some of this time travelling stuff I would go to Dubai in the year 2500 , I think that watching all of this years the development of the city since the decade of 1960’s when it was no more than an array of buildings that had a lot of the early 1900’s Arab style architecture in its roots and then since the petroleum industry hit hard in the economy of the emirates starting an acceleration in the development of the city.
In the year
2021 the Burj Khalifa with the world record of being the tallest man made
structure of earth in history, that is the setup that convinced me of being in
this city it in the upcoming future ;
imagine how a city could develop with an unlimited budget & the motivation
that the Arab rich men have for constructing flaunty & extravagant
buildings with a megalomaniac background & a desire to put Saudi Arabia as
one of the world’s most powerful economies this makes me think that in the
future this city Will be epic for real ,
imagine a 100 years ago since the construction of the Chrysler building
in 1929 in City of New York that was 100 meters tall now in 2021 Burj Khalifa
887 meters now if we do mathematics that is an exponentially 8 times larger the
growth of the tallest building on earth so if I go to Dubai in the 2500 maybe
the building would be in orbit having to go there in elevator from earth
imagine that it would be a sight to see.
In the year
2021 Elon Musk & Jeff Bezos are pioneering in the space tourism so I think
that a city in the outer space orbiting in the orbit of the city above Dubai
could be possible in 5 centuries more so that it’s the most interesting &
possibly to happen in the future.
